Tyson V. Repke attended the University of Northern Colorado where he studied private voice under Thomas Poole and choral conducting under Dr. Howard Skinner and Dr. Galen Darrough, eventually graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Music Education.
Tyson performed several times with the UNC Opera Theatre department. He has also acted in numerous musical theater productions along the Front Range. In concert, Tyson is equally comfortable singing classical works, spirituals, jazz, or contemporary styles, and has appeared as a guest soloist with the Longmont Chorale and the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra.
Tyson has sung with the Mountain Madrigals, Rocky Tops Barbershop Quartet, High Desert Opera, the Messiah Choral Society of Grand Junction and the Western Colorado Chorale.
Tyson is now furthering his musical career as the recipient of a grant toward a Master’s Degree at the University of Denver. We enjoyed working with him and thank him for sharing his leadership and talent with us and wish him the best.
